stumped. motor spuns no lift. checked seals.

I was hitting switches, battery touching hose. It made a hole and sprayed it all out.
Replaced hose.
Tried to raise it back up but motor just spins.
So I took everything apart.
Gears fine, seals fine.
Unhooked end of hose nothing shot out.
So there's like no suction at all.
