I'm just a beginner, but the last two times I went to the auto paint supply store the workers tried to talk me out of buying evercoat rage (almost $40/gal) and buying the evercoat white/grey looking gallon for only $17-$18. I asked them why, and they said that's 90% of what they sell, and pretty much all the professional bodymen were buying the cheap can. They also said it was easier to sand.
I bought the rage stuff anyway, but then started to question myself afterwards. Maybe they're correct, and I'm just wasting money?
