dyeing seat belts

Anyone dyed seat belts before? Mine are black and are sun bleached to hell.

Any professional interior people point me in the direction to stain / dye them back to black?

I assume normal dye will rub off on clothing? Or not even soak into the seat belt material?

I don't want to bother buying new ones.

Any help much appreciated.
