Hey all, I'm new to the forum.
I own a 1958 BelAir 2 Door sedan, and have done a little work on the engine/suspension/brakes/electrical. It's by no means a show car, but a very reliable cruiser. I've done most things to original specs (or at least original to look at).
Due to my local state law, it is illegal to fit aftermarket airbag systems.... So I got online and found an OEM/factory engine driven compressor and tank. In the coming months (after I recondition the parts) I will be fitting them with new bags & a full Accuair system.. along with a 'reserve' 12V compressor.
If anybody out there has any info on the factory '58 level air systems, please let me know. I have a lot of documentation on the system but would really like to hear from people with hands-on experience.
The forum looks good, and there are a whole heap of nice cars on here.
