My last '64 Impala recently got wrecked, and I had 14x7 reverse 100 spoke Chinas on it. They worked fine, and i sold the car to a buddy assuming the tire wheel package could be replaced for my new '64 Impala for $1000 like those sets always were. Now with the tire supply dilemma that I am just now aware of, I am looking at other options. I was looking at Zeus wheels, but I think I upset the rep by asking too many ?'s. this is not a small amount of money for me to spend, so I have to make sure I ask the right ?'s and there are no surprises.
I have not until recently even heard of Zeus Wheels, so I don't have any strong opinion formed of these wheels, and the lowrider scene is so weak where I am at, I simply have never seen a set. My initial thought was that if I am going to step up, I might as well just buy Daytons, but it's as if they don't even want to sell them, because I have been searching, and can't find any info on a retailer for them or any pricing.
I am pretty sure I am going to go with the "Premium Sportway" 5.20's, I sent them a message on here, and got a clear/polite answer on pricing. Is there a website or dealer on here that can give me an accurate price on a set of actual Daytons? I have limited experience with the available brands, and would like to make this purchase only once.
