Some might remember me from a few years back.. I used to post here with the name chrisijzerman.
Well i'm back, sortoff.. after break of about 2 or 3 I got back building military models, it's what I'm mosty building nowadays but sometimes I manage to squeeze out a nice customized car :D

So here go's!

A 66 Volkswagen Beetle with really wide wheels!
So far I managed to tuck in the front wheels by chopping up the front suspension system.. it won't be this easy on the back, so I will probably try to tuck the wheels in a bit more by chopping the rear axle, and widen the fenders out for the rest of missing space!

It was way to wide as with the stock front :p


So I chopped out the parts marked in red!


And after the whole chopping the wheels are sitting all nice and flush! You can also see what I meant with the rear wheels haha.


And how the front suspension thing looks now! I managed to keep the steering working as well :)


Hope that's enough pictures to keep you guys happy for now..
I'll be getting work done on the rear now.. looks like a bigger project then the front so wish me luck! haha
